POLICE ASSURE RESIDENTS OF SECURITY OVER ALLEGED PLANNED DISRUPTION ON THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE
The Lagos State Police Command has announced that they are aware of a planned disruption on the Third Mainland Bridge and have deployed officers to maintain law and order.
The Police urge the public to go about their daily activities without fear and to cooperate with security personnel.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Abimbola Adebisi has said in a statement released and monitored by Aiyekooto Reporters Crime and Security reporter.
According to SP Abimbola Adebisi, the police have put in place measures to ensure safety and prevent obstruction or breach of peace to enhance adequate security measures
Stating further, Police officers have been fully deployed to ensure the safety of road users and maintain order. Urging members of the public to cooperate with security personnel and go about their lawful activities without fear.
The police are committed to protecting lives and property and ensuring the free flow of traffic in Lagos State.
