Police Strengthen Security Stakeholders Meeting Ahead Of Election In Anambra
ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP ORUTUGU INTENSIFIES ADVOCACY VISITS TO SECURITY STAKEHOLDERS AS IGP APPROVES POLICE SECURITY SUMMIT
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu, is working hard to enhance security in the state through stakeholder engagements. The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga has assured in a statement released ahead of the upcoming by election in the state.
While briefing Journalists in Akwa the state capital, SP Ikenga said , a comprehensive summit is planned across Anambra’s three senatorial districts, culminating in a grand finale where residents (“Ndi Anambra”) will discuss common security concerns and propose solutions.
To further strengthen a better security coordination in the state, the Police Commissioner, CP Ikioye Orutugu visited the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, HRH Igwe Chidubem Iweka, to seek collaboration in promoting community security and peaceful coexistence.
The puissant to the effect is to ensure the summit achieve purposeful dialogue, peacebuilding, and strengthen trust between the Police and communities.
The Anambra State Police Command assures residents of their commitment to working with all stakeholders, including traditional rulers, community leaders, and other security agencies, to ensure a safer and more peaceful Anambra State.
