“My Mother Is Still In The Mortuary” – Sunday Igboho

The Yoruba agitator Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho has been released and flown to Hamburg, German immediately. The Yoruba activist was sighted at the entry point in Germany.

Though while faces immigration brouhaha in Benin republic he lost his biological mother, in a maiden speech after his release, he thank Nigerians for standing by him during the period, he has this to say to Nigerians.

“My mother is still in the mortuary, waiting for me to come and give her a befitting burial,” Sunday Igboho revealed to the Nigerians.

Sunday Igboho, a Nigerian activist and philanthropist, has disclosed that her mother was kept in the mortuary while he was imprisoned so that he could give her a proper burial following his release.

The Yoruba fearless agitator, expressed his gratitude to the Yoruba people for their love and support both before and after the death of his mother.

On Sunday, Igboho also thanked the President of the Benin Republic, Patrice Talon, and other members of his cabinet for equally ensuring that nothing was done to him while he was under their custody.

He thanked Prof. Banji Akintoye, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Prof Wole Soyinka among others for supporting him in the course of his struggle and reincarnation in Benin republic during one of the darkest moment in the history of his life. The fearless Yoruba agitator Sunday Igboho has said.

It should be recalled that Sunday Igboho and wife were arrested when connecting flight to Germany from the Benin republic International Airport.
The wife a German citizens was freed while the Benin republic sighted some immigration breaches on Sunday Igboho and was subsequently detained.
