‘I Have Evidence Tinubu Is 90 Years Old, I Can Prove It In Court’ – Atiku
Former Vice President and 2027 African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential hopeful, Atiku Abubakar, has claimed he has evidence that President Bola Tinubu is 90 years old.
Atiku made the claim in an interview with the BBC published on Friday, stating that he is ready to present the evidence in court if necessary.
Defending his repeated presidential bids, the former Vice President said his persistence is rooted in his constitutional right to contest and his desire to serve Nigeria.
He cited his experience, competence and patriotism as qualifications for the presidency, while attributing the country’s current insecurity to government irresponsibility in defence and policing.
Atiku promised to address insecurity within one year if elected into office.
“You have a President who is 90 years old now and sick and I am healthy and strong. So why won’t I make myself available to serve my country?
“You went and voted for someone who is 90 years old. I have evidence that President Tinubu is 90 years old and I will present it in court,” Atiku was quoted as saying.
