The adoption of the Muslim /Muslim tickets by APC has continued to generate mass criticism and condemnation, Christians and some top clerics in Nigeria have shown their open resentment for the adoption.A lot have said that it negates the spirit of equity and fairness, and some said that it would increase terrorism in a nation that is trying to extricate itself from the painful claws of terrorism.The leader of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, primate Elijah Ayodele maintained that the Muslim /Muslim ticket is harmful to the Nigerian nation and blasted clergies who are supporting the adoption.Speaking in Lagos recently, the cleric said ” the adoption of Muslim /Muslim ticket is a wicked and callous act, aimed at enslaving Christians in the country; any Christian clergy that is in support of this evil and devilish act, his anointing will dry up like the lake ” he fumed.The cleric applauded CAN for taking the stand to protect Christians in Nigeria by not supporting the adoption.He said, “I have always seen CAN as a political body that does nothing good for Christians in the country, but this regime is different, I wasnt to commend them for their efforts in ensuring that Christians are not enslaved by opposing the Muslim /Muslim ticket of the APC.
