The nightmare is over as the Ogun State Police Command Operatives hit the milestone and neutralize the kidnappers who abducted the wife of Lagos State former Commissioner of Police, AIG Hakeem Odumosu Rtd.

According to reports, ransom initially paid was recovered by the Police but the amount recovered from the Kidnappers remain sketchy while manhunt for the suspected criminals is ongoing.

The wife of the retired Assistant Inspector General of Police Odumosu was kidnapped last week Thursday in their Arepo residence area of Ogun State.

According to the Force Police Public Relations Officer,ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Mrs Odumosu was rescued unhurt from her captive.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi who confirmed the incident stated that the victim was rescued unhurt. The IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun NPM has commended the Police Operatives and CP Lanre Ogunlowo for the excellent disposition.

“We are committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and our dear country,” Adejobi, has said.
