We Will Hunt Down Perpetrators of Amichi Vigilante Office Attack – Anambra CP Vows
The Commissioner of Police , Anambra State Police Command, CP Aderemi Adeoye has directed all Police Tactical Teams and Special Forces in the State to respond promptly to all distress calls from Vigilante groups anytime they’re under attack and challenge .
This directives is coming after gunmen attacked and burnt the Vigilante Office in Amichi, Nnewi South LGA of the State. The unfortunate incident lead to the loss of life of one of the Vigilante men.
However, the Commissioner of Police CP Aderemi Adeoye has vowed to unravel and unmask the penetrators of this hideous crime and commended the vigilant groups in the State on their resilient spirit to protect citizens of the state and retaliate that police will do all within its power to protect them.
According to SP Ikenga, the CP condole with the immediate family of the deceased and people of the state over the unfortunate incident while assuring that penetrators will not go unpunished.
He therefore prayed for the repose soul of the fallen hero, that his death will not be in vain and reassure citizens of the state of adequate protection a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga has said in Akwa the state capital.
