Delta Police: Neutralize One, Arrested One Suspected kidnapper, Rescued Kidnap Victim In Abraka

The Delta State Police Command led by CP Wale Abass Psc assured citizens of the state of the mission to crush criminals and criminality in the State on resumption of office. He assured that the available option for criminal suspects is either to relocate from the state or turn away from their criminal activities.

He then strategies, call for collaborative assistant with the State stakeholders, gave useful tips to the personnel as directed by the Inspector General of Police Usman Baba Alkali CFR and in total adherence to the order and directives.

However, this is playing out in the State as the proactive steps is ensuring that there’s no hidden place for criminals in the State.

It’s therefore pertinent to note that in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Abraka the Divisional Police Officer, SP Fabian Ayameh on surveillance patrol received a distressed call that a Kidnapping incident is being penetrated by a gang of four armed men operating with a silver coloured Lexus SUV with reg. no. KSF 315 HF along Campus lll in Abraka, Delta State.

Acting on the intelligence gathering, SP Ayameh swung into action with his men and trailed the suspected kidnappers. The kidnappers noticed being trailed by the police opened fire in a bid to make way for their escape but the police could have none of that as they are keen and battle hungry while they’re armed with superior firepower, engaged them, demobilized their operational vehicle, while the suspects abandoned their victim and make way to escape through different directions, in the process of gunfire exchange one of them sustain serious injury and was caught, another arrested while police is still in manhunt for the remaining two suspects.

The two arrested has been taken into custody , recovered from them are One AK 47 rifle with breech no 06571 without magazine and their operational vehicle.
However, the victim has since reunite with his family.

The State Police Commissioner CP Wale Abass Psc commended the personnel for their bravery and achievements. He said that personnel must increase the tempo and rid the State of criminals and criminality. The Command Spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe has said in a statement released and cited by Aiyekooto Reporters.
