Delta Police Declare War On Criminals

The Delta State Police Command Asaba has declared war on criminals in the state. Acting on the directives of the indefatigable Deputy Commissioner of Police Johnson Adenola  in charge of Operations had earlier address personnels on proactive measures to curb the state of criminality. 
Tactical Commanders were directed to Ughelli and Warri to reinforce the Divisions. The B Division,  Divisional Police Officer SP Bolarinwa Alabi received a distress call that some armed robbers just snatched a Lexus Jeep and robbing innocent Nigerians along the Warri /Sapele Road with the same Car. 
Base on the intelligence gathering, the Divisional Head,  SP Bolarinwa Alabi mobilize his men and stormed the criminals hideout where they interface with Armed robbers but the Police Team overpowered the men of the underworld while one of the armed robber died in the process while the other three suspects were arrested.
The following were recovered from the suspects, One locally made cut-to-size double barrel gun with two live cartridges, one suspected stolen vehicle with reg. no PYN 595 PW. 
In another development,  along same flash point rout Warri / Sapele Road, one Odogwu Ifeanyi “m” 36 years of age was arrested with one other suspect while dangerous items were recovered from them.  one locally made single barrel gun with four live cartridges, one jack knife were recovered. 
In the same day, the DPO and his men also arrested one Ediri Omote ‘m’ age 45 years, and two others, and one locally made single barrel gun with nine expended cartridges were recovered from them. 
The development call for concern but in the statement released by the Delta State Police Command Spokesman DSP Bright Edafe assured citizens that the police will not relent but will continue to take the fight against crime to the hideout of criminals. While those suspects will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.
