As the who will occupy Aso Rock vacant apartment after the incumbent, President Mohammadu Buhari draw nearer . It’s no longer news that the People Democratic Party (PDP) has been in serious internal crisis which led to the emergence of the fondly called G5.

There’s no doubt that the lingering crisis has flittered for so long. But reason for not shifting ground to allow peace reign has been revealed.

Dele Momodu, the spokesperson for the presidential campaign council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has revealed that the presidential candidate of their party, Atiku Abubakar, once gave Nyesom Wike two options during the time of the party’s primaries; however, Nyesom Wike rejected the offer and decided to be selfish with his decisions. This information was revealed by Dele Momodu.

Dele Momodu, who was speaking in an exclusive interview with Nigerian Tribune, revealed that after Atiku Abubakar was left alone to be on his own during the party’s primaries, he approached Nyesom Wike to work with him. Nyesom Wike initially agreed to the deal, but he later went behind Atiku’s back and blackmailed him. Dele Momodu made this revelation while speaking with Nigerian Tribune.

Dele Momodu said, “Atiku told Wike to be his VP or allow southeast produce the next president, but Wike said no.”

As he continued saying, Dele Momodu said that if Nyesom Wike was truly pushing for zoning of the presidential ticket to the South, he should have allowed it to be zoned to the southeast because it’s their time to rule because it’s their turn to be in charge of the country. He did say that since the party did not later agree to zoning the presidency to the South, Atiku Abubakar is still the best presidential candidate of the PDP.

This was in response to the fact that the party did not agree to zoning the presidency to the South
