The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye has vowed that the Command will hunt down and bring to justice the killers of the Nanka Ward Chairman of Young Progressive Party (YPP).
The Commissioner of Police , CP Aderemi Adeoye condemned the killing in strongest possible terms and described the killers as cowards who have murdered sleep. The Command Spokesperson DSP Tochukwu Ikenga has said in the statement issued to Journalists in Akwa the state capital.
According to the sighted document, CP Adeoye said, ‘they might think they have committed a perfect crime and that they would get away with it but they delude themselves”. The Police is already working on vital clues to unmask the perpetrators.
However, the Command wishes to re-assure all law abiding citizens especially in Nanka not to be afraid but to join hands with the Police in bringing the murderers and their sponsor to justice. CP Aderemi Adeoye has said in the report.
