VDM Calls Out Phyna Over Dangote Saga, Says She “Used” Him and Issues Stern Warning
The drama between BBNaija star Phyna and the Dangote Group has taken another twist, as social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has shared his side of the story.
Phyna has been in the news after revealing that her sister, Ruth, lost her leg in a ghastly accident allegedly caused by a Dangote truck. According to Phyna, Dangote’s representatives initially promised to move Ruth to Lagoon Hospital in Lagos for better treatment. However, she later claimed that the rep stopped taking her calls, leaving her frustrated and suspicious of foul play.
VDM has now revealed that he was part of the early conversations with the company. He explained that Phyna reached out to him after the accident, and together they met with Dangote’s reps in Lagos. A proper meeting with lawyers was even scheduled for the next day.
Things, however, took another turn when Phyna pulled out. VDM alleged that she decided to attend the meeting with her own lawyer instead, after Dangote’s team reportedly said they were “scared of VDM.”
Despite accusing her of betrayal, VDM says he has forgiven Phyna. In his words: “Phyna, even though I have forgiven you, I just hope you have learned that in this life you should be careful who you use. You used me, and now they are playing you. I forgive you and I still love you genuinely—and I hope your sister is taken care of.”
He didn’t stop there. VDM also warned the Dangote Group, stressing that if Ruth’s health worsens or her life is lost, all Dangote operations in Edo State would be shut down.
This comes just days after VDM had earlier blasted Aliko Dangote, warning that Nigerians were losing lives daily to careless driving by Dangote trucks.
The ongoing saga has sparked heated conversations online, with many Nigerians debating corporate accountability, celebrity influence, and whether Phyna made a mistake by sidelining VDM.
