A picture showing the moment the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu dozed off during the inauguration of the women’s wing of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Team at the Old Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday, has stirred several reactions online.

According to reports, the event had in attendance bigwigs of the party from across the country.

Those at the event include President Muhammadu Buhari, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari. the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; First Lady Aisha Buhari; the wives of the candidate and his running mate, Senator Remi Tinubu and Mrs Nana Shettima.

Others are the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Governor Simon Lalong; Governors Hope Uzodinma (Imo); Abdullahi Ganduje; Women Leader of the APC, Beta Edu; other leaders of the party; National Assembly members and others.

Reacting to the photo, many Nigerians called on Tinubu to suspend his presidential ambition and take a rest.

The recent photo follows a controversial one where Tinubu dozed off during a meeting with the Emir of Gombe, Abubakar Shehu- Abubakar.

Many Nigerians linked the photo to what they believe is the reaction of Tinubu’s alleged ill health.

Reports say the APC presidential candidate was in Gombe primarily to attend the wedding of Misbahu Inuwa Yahaya, son of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, before stopping by for a brief homage and political meeting at the Emir’s Palace.

Nonetheless, several comments have discredited Tinubu’s presidential ambition with the viral photo, positing that it is an evidence that the latter isn’t medically fit to govern Nigeria.
