Super Eagles Captain and sensational player Ahmed Musa in an emotional laden voice speaks on naming newly constructed school after his late parents, confirming that the said school is the only educational background he has. “That’s the only school I attended” – Emotional Ahmed Musa speaks to our correspondent Aiyekooto Reporters.
Super Eagles captain and philanthropist, Ahmed Musa has completed and unveiled one of his long term dream projects, which is an International school he rebuilt in his hometown community, bukuru, in Jos Nigeria in memory of his late parent Aiyekooto Reporters reports.
The 30-year-old forward who shared photos on social media, showing the beautiful facility and the well-furnished classrooms, named the school after his parents Mr Musa and Mrs Sarah, as M&S International school.
The Nigerian striker explained why he renamed the ultra-modern educational facility after his parents.
He disclosed that he wanted the poor to also enjoy the state-of the art educational facilities just as much the rich.
In an exclusive chat Musa, who attended Saint Peace Primary School while growing up in Jos, said he was informed that the building was about to be sold, hence he took the decisive step to buy it.
“That was the only school I attended when I was growing up. When I heard they wanted to sell it, I decided to buy it, take it down and do what you saw over there.” the Super Eagle Captain revealed to Aiyekooto Reporters correspondent
“I did that to ensure the poor also get to feel the kind of educational system the rich gets. That is why I made sure it is the best school in my community and even the state.”
Musa lost his beloved mother, Sarah in 2019 and it is reported he was only seven years old when his father, Musa passed away.
According to him, his late parents will be proud of him wherever they are.
The Sivasspor of Turkey football star added on social media:
“All that I could think of was to name it after my departed parents, because they are late and anywhere they are, they will be proud of me. I’m proud to name it after my parents – Mr Musa and Mrs Sarah! M&S International School… Alhamdulillah.” Musa said in an emotional laden voice.
