A group of unidentified gunmen on motorcycles shot and killed a young man whose identity is currently unknown . A report monitored from the Spokeperson of the Ogun State Police Command, SP Omolola Odutola has revealed.

According to the report , the Divisional Police Officer covering the jurisdiction while on surveillance along Ewusi street, Ita Oba roundabout intercepted information about shooting incident, the Police Officer swings into action with his men, “they discovered the deceased lying in a pool of blood. The examination of the body revealed bullet wounds on the neck, stomach, and hand. Additionally, three expended cartridges were found at the scene”. Unfortunately, no identification identity except for two large cowries.

However, the Spokeperson for the Police SP Omolola Odutola hinted that a diligent investigation has been opened to oversee the tragic killing as the State Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha visited the scene of crime and has called for verbatim investigations to identify the victim and bring the fleecing suspects to book.

CP Alamutu, assured citizens of the state that under his watch no hideous crime will be swept under carpet that this culprits will be arrested and justice will be served , the statement sighted revealed.
