The Inspector General of Police Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun PhD, NPM , in the rejig transformation going on as announced on his maiden speech has match words with action as the Police Service Commission has approved the deployment of eight Commissioner of Police to various eight State Police Command across the country.
In a statement released by the Commission Spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani and sighted by Aiyekooto Reporters.
The Commission commended the Ag IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun PhD, NPM for his gender sensitivity and adherence to the call for the opposite sex to be given opportunity as their male counterpart.
The delighted Police Service Commission Chairman, Dr Solomon Arase CFR who is on a reformatory mission to position the Nigeria Police Force with global practices appreciate the deployment but reminded the Inspector General Police in his subsequent proposals to include more Police Officers of North East and South East geopolitical zones that are yet to record the benchmark of 15 percent as decided at its last Plenary Meeting .

Dr Solomon Arase CFR, a former Inspector General of Police draw the attention of the Ag. IGP Olukayode Egbetokun to the much deliberation held in Plenary regards the 15% geopolitical spread and concluded that the recommendation for the deployment is with immediate effect. Ikechukwu Ani the Commission Spokesman said in the statement released.
