Sequence to the above , the second edition of the Police Service Commission annual ceremony will be held today, the 19th of December 2023 at the Commission’s Corporate Headquarters in Jabi Abuja.
In a signed document by the Spokeperson for the Police Service Commission, Ikechukwu Ani, he assured that the award ceremony is expected to attract eminent Nigerians, former Chairmen of the Commission, Directors and friends of the Commission.
According to Ani, Staffs , Police Officers and others who have contributed immensely to efficient and effective policing in the country will be recognized at today’s annual award ceremony.
Speaking further he said , the award categories are seven which include PSC Appreciation award, PSC Pioneer staff award, PSC staff award. Award for Leadership and Service, Prestigious Award for Philanthropy in the Police, Stakeholders award and award for Gallantry in the Nigeria Police Force.
The Chief Host , Chairman of the Commission,Dr Solomon Arase, CFR retired Inspector General of Police while speaking on today’s annual award said, it is a celebration of excellence in the Police sector. According to him, the Commission will continue to recognize merit and distinguished individuals who have overtime supported the commission and the Police in discharge of their responsibilities.
The occasion will afford it’s stakeholders and PSC big family to unwind and thank God for His mercy and blessings throughout the ending 2023 year.
This is in consummation of the inaugural edition held in December 2022 the previous year, Dr Solomon Arase CFR has said in regards to today’s annual award to be held at the corporate headquarters Jabi-Abuja.
