The Ogun State Police Command has been on the look out of culprit behind the unidentified corpse abandoned in the Kadesh area of Ogijo in Ogun State.

According to eyewitness account, a “Keke Marwa” was seen on the unfamiliar route where the corpse was found and it escaped before it could identify the rider or the tricycle itself.

The Ogun State Police Command while abridge with the information ordered the nearest Police Division to cordon off the scene of crime and diligent investigation activities going on to unravel the reported incidence.

Immediately, the Ogijo Police Division swung into action according to the order and directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha while investigation is still ongoing to bring the penetrators to book.

The yet to be identify corpse is within the age bracket of 20-25 years old. While seeking more information. The body of the deceased young man has been evacuated to Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State.

The Spokeperson for the state, SP Omolola Odutola has said that investigation is still on going, that no person has reported a missing person fitting the description nor any family members approach the Police Division.

Speaking further, SP Omolola Odutola said the State Police Command is committed to unravel the identity of those behind the dastardly act and will not relent in nipping crime in the bud.
