Senior pastor of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has been admitted in a hospital after he collapsed at an airport on Thursday.
Confirming the ugly incidence is a video showing the clergyman collapsing and being held by an aide has gone viral on social media handles.
Dr Chinyere asked for prayers in a recent Facebook post, showing photos of him receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
“Please pray for me this morning,” he wrote.
Though the popular clergy, Dr Chinyere has been heartbroken in recent times over the actions of people he has helped. He had complained bitterly to close aide about the ungrateful and ingrates attitude of people he had touched their lives when it matter most.
Former Chicken Republic security guards Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, popularly known as Happie Boys, recently accused him of abandoning them in Cyprus where he sent them to school on scholarship. Though , Aiyekooto Reporters made comprehensive report on it when the US dollars hit the roof top. OPM made alternative plan for the return of certain international students to other branches, this is the crux of the matter.
The Happie Boys later apologized for their inappropriate actions.
Also, the parents of Deborah Samuel, the student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto who was killed on campus for alleged blasphemy, were reported to have accused Dr Chibuzor Gift Chinyere and OPM of abandoning them and granting excusable interview to journalists without acknowledging the popular clergy but rather accusations.
They, however, debunked the reports, saying they did not talk with the press.
Before his breakdown, the man of God, Dr Chibuzor Gift Chinyere had written on his Facebook: “Don’t help everyone poor person. Some are poor because they are naturally ungrateful.”
However, Dr Chibuzor Gift Chinyere collapse may not be unconnected with the aforementioned but responding to medical treatment though cause of the collapse at the airport is undisclosed at the time of filing this report.
