The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali CFR has approved the appointment of SP Omolola Odutola as the new spokesperson of the Ogun State Police Command. She took over from SP Abimbola Oyeyemi with immediate effect. The former image maker has been transfered to Oyo State Police Command for other assignment.

The new spokesperson, Omolola Odutola was enlisted and appointed into the prestigious Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police as a member of ASP Course 25, 2012.

She is an alumnus of Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye Ogun State where she studied law and later proceeded to the University of Lagos for her Masters in Criminology.

Furthermore, She is a member of several professional bodies and associations which include the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), and the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) where she is an Associate among others.

SP Omolola Odutola is a writer, sport lover, who has served in Ondo State Police Command Akure, she’s the first Public Relations Officer of the Maritime Command, Force Headquarters Annex, Kam Salem House, Obalende, Lagos . Omolola has also explored the Force Intelligence Bureau as an investigator and intelligence expert in police duties and criminal investigations.

The aforementioned experience of SP Omolola Odutola is going to be of added advantage to reposition the interrelationship between the Ogun State Police Command, Security stakeholders and the Citizens of the State.
