A non governmental organization known as One Voice Development Initiative has called for the immediate release of DCP Abba Kyari citing reasons for the release. The organization said on both compassionate ground and perceptive of the law, he deserves it.
The National Coordinator of the non governmental organization , Alhaji Abbas Abdullahi Yakasai cissp, said DCP Abba Kyari achievements in the history of the Nigeria Police Force on his service to the nation deserves serious attention to work for him as merit for eventual release instead of upholding unhealthy vendetta allegations against him.
It’s imperative that the death of his mother which he’s denied opportunity to witness is too severe when in actual fact it is a bailable offense, while the actual penetrators of the hideous crime are working freely on the street and the captor spending well over two years in prison over spurious allegations speak volumes to our national consciousness as a people.
The organization thank the Borno residents and well meaning Nigerians who remain thoughtful at this time to rally round the Abba Kyari family and DCP Abba Kyari at this stimulating challenges.
The One Voice Development Initiative therefore appeal to the Federal Government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to grant the already traumatized and embattled, DCP Abba Kyari presidential pardon in the spirit of fairness, equity and justice.
According to the organization, DCP Abba Kyari should be hailed, appreciated and encouraged base on his indisputable track records.

Dear Abba Kyari,
We at One Voice Development Initiative extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the demise of your beloved mother, Yachilla. May Almighty Allah Forgive her and May Jannatul Firdous be her final abode.
We also want to use this medium to appreciate the good people of Borno State for their genuine massive support and solidarity to Abba Kyari and the Kyari family during this difficult time. Your mother’s legacy and impact on the community are evident in the outpouring of love and condolences.
We thank all civil society groups, unions, and individuals who have stood by the Kyari family during this trial period. Your support and Massive solidarity are a testament to the power of community and the importance of standing together in times of need.
Furthermore, we draw the attention of the Federal Government to the urgent need to fast-track the immediate release of Abba Kyari. The vendetta allegations levelled against him are bailable in nature, and it is due time for the FG to honor and respect his sacrifices to the nation. If not, people of his caliber and patriotism would be demoralised and lost confidence of honesty & true service to the nation.
Finally, we hope that the FG will consider his release and reinstatement to service with immediate effect. We believe that this would be a fitting tribute to his mother’s memory and a testament to the nation’s commitment to justice, fairness, and recognition of outstanding and unprecedented service to our Nation.
