Anambra State Police Command has vowed to go after cultists in the State. The disturbing trend of cultists in the State has made the State Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye to describe them as murderers who are unfit to cohabit with descent human beings in the society, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga has said in a statement released in Akwa , the state capital.
CP Aderemi Adeoye, described sponsors of cultists as wicked and coward who should cover their faces in shame. He vowed that proactive steps will be taken to fish out penetrators of this hideous crime and their sponsors.
He warned that no one should call him for the release of arrested cultists after commiting the dastardly acts or else will be disgraced.
The Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye has ordered for total clampdown on cultists and charge the Police operatives to go all out to smoke them out from their hidings. He appealed to ndi Anambra to be patient with the Police that their recent cult related killings in the capital will soon be restored . He solicited for the cooperation of all to rid the state of menace of cultism the statement read.
