Ndigbo Traders in Computer Village Elect New Executives

After 13 years without a unified leadership, the Ndigbo traders in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos, have inaugurated a new executive team.

This milestone marks a significant turning point for the Igbo people in the market, who have been working hard to establish a unified leadership.

The new executive team, led by Chief Chinedu Mbakwe (Mabtech) as President, aims to pilot the affairs of the Ndigbo traders in the market. Other members of the executive team include:

    • Mr. Austin C. Agbakor (Vice President)
    • Comrade Mike Orji (Secretary General)
    • Maduekwe C. Emmanuel (Assistant Secretary General)
    • Chijioke Obidike (Public Relations Officer)
    • Odojili Emmanuel (Assistant PRO)
    • Obigbara Anthony (Financial Secretary)
    • Nwaochei Ezekiel (Assistant Financial Secretary)
    • Duru Meshack (Treasurer)
    • Ananwa Ifeanyi (Welfare)
    • Iyke Samuel (Chief Whip)
    • Ukaigwe Victor (Provost)

This new leadership is expected to bring coordination and organization to the Ndigbo traders in the market, who have been operating without a unified leadership for many years. Computer Village, where the traders are based, is a bustling market known as a hub for electronics and ICT products.
