A Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos State has granted the bail to the duo presiding over the most controversial murder case in history of Nigeria, The Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, ordered the duo to submit their international passports as part of their bail conditions.
The magistrate who relied on Police reports to pass the bail conditions has said in it’s premiliary investigation that the duo only bullied the deceased but cannot be established that they’re responsible for the untimely death of the singer since both of them travelled out of the country at the occurrence of the incidence.
The magistrate also ordered them to make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Adding a unique warning, the magistrate overseeing the case sternly cautioned that any attempts to contact her would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.
“As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.
“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” Olatunbosun said.
The duo were arrested on their return to Nigeria after they were linked to the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
