The Lagos State Police Command has commence verbatim investigation over the sudden death of Lagos Pop singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad.
The outcry of the demise of the young popular singer has been trending after the tragic and sudden death of the singer.
On the strength of the aforementioned, the Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa has directed full scale investigations over the incident. A statement released from the State Police Public Relation Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said.
In the signed document released by SP Hundeyin, “the Commissioner of Police has constituted a Special Investigation Team within the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to coordinate the investigation”.
The constituted team , comprises seasoned homicide detectives, tasked with the mandate to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of the singer based on multi purpose reasons adduced to the cause of death. The team is to give verbatim reports after investigations to ensure justice is served. According to the report, paraphernalia of scientific methodology, exhumation will be deployed to ascertain substantiated evidence because of the nomenclature of the incidence.
Consequence of the above, the State Governor Babajide SanwoOlu has given tacit support to the Lagos State Police Command to bring the penetrators of this hideous crime to book. The Governor, Sanwoolu said this should be “expeditiously investigated and justice delivered promptly, SP Benjamin Hundeyin was quoted in the signed document.
The Lagos State Police Command appeal to the family, friends of the deceased and general public to assist the police with any useful information that will unravel the misery of the sudden demise of the rising young musician.
