A new Commissioner of Police has been appointed for Kwara State, North Central Nigeria. The new Commissioner of Police, CP Olaiya Victor Mobolaji appointment is with immediate effect .
His appointment followed his approval by the acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun PhD, NPM
Until his appointment, the new Kwara police commissioner was the Commissioner of Police, INEC, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
CP Olaiya Victor Mobolaji replace CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi who recently retired from service on September 1st, 2023.
CP Adelesi spent less than two months as Kwara Police boss before her retirement on the mandatory years of service.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi who also confirmed his appointment said he would be resuming any moment from now
