Eze Ubani Goes To School!

In the book Eze Goes To School by Onuora Nzekwu he highlighted the almost impossible challenges confronted by Eze why he couldn’t find it easy to go to school. The theme.of the book centre on the herculean task to be in school in the African contemporary Eastern Nigeria. At the end , the Eze story ended in Praise.

The twist of fate and destiny reechoed as a King of Eastern extraction of Nigeria though not confronted with Onuora Nzekwu “Eze goes to school” challenges but felt challenged when a certain Barrister of Law he engaged couldn’t express himself properly before the HRH Eze Ebere Ubani Akuma Ukwu iii of Mgbarakuma Ancient Kingdom, Abia State.

The retired Police Commissioner left service about 13 years ago. He was so disappointed that he felt the best legacy of his life must be accomplished which he believed that, “no knowledge is lost” . He entrolled at Clifford University owned by Seventh Day Adventist Church, Nigeria. admitted to study Law at the University Faculty as full time undergraduate.

When Aiyekooto Reporters enquire to know why he choose the Classroom after over three decades ago of leaving school.

The elated King said he’s at home with himself and other academic contemporaries. He said , the Barrister provoked him to pick up his bag to study Law, this will enable him handle little legal issues instead of allowing an uneducated and illiterate lawyer continue to lose cases he would have won easily.

When reminding HRH Eze Ubani the implications of durations of study. He said the imperative is setting the machinery on and get started. And in no distance time he will graduate. He said though am driven by passion and the embarrassing lawyer who debased the noble profession before me by finding it difficult to express himself in simple English language.

Whatever it is, it is worthy to note that I am back in classroom to study Law. He told Aiyekooto Reporters.
