Dr Solomon Arase Task NYSC Members On Nation Building


The Chairman Police Service Commission,  Dr Solomon Arase CFR has charged the National Youth Service Corp Members assigned to the Commission on mandatory service to wake up to their responsibility as alot is being expected from them. He admonished them to aggressively embark on self development and be able to hold themselves high in any given opportunity.

Dr Arase buttressed further that they should be able to ask themselves ” in my little space, what have I contributed or impact have I made” to better myself and my country. He said only their intellectual depth that can take them further in life .

The Spokesman Ikechukwu Ani in a statement released and monitored by Aiyekooto Reporters revealed that for nation to be great the corps must take advantage of the fact that the country needs visionary leaders and the onus is on the youths to ensure it utilize the opportunity.
The Chairman Dr Solomon Arase CFR, task the National Youth Service Corp members to key into the security sector reforms and use the advantage to enlightened the public, engage them on robust conversation on how to improve police and youths relationship for the interest of the country.
The Commission Chairman emphasis that they should see themselves as critical components in capacity building, viable partnership in nation building for the merits of all.
The Former Inspector General of Police Dr Arase, also promise to improve on the meagre allowances of  the Service Corp members and how best to absorb those interested to be retained after their mandatory service to the nation.
