SECURITY IN ANAMBRA: CP ITAM CONTINUES TO FOSTER COMMUNITY SECURITY COLLABORATION, ADDRESSES ANAOCHA LOCAL GOVERNMENT STAKEHOLDERS FORUM

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam rose from a stakeholders meeting yesterday the 7th of January 2025 where he addressed the Anaocha Forum on the theme “Repositioning Security Architectural System In Anaocha”.

The State Police Commissioner,CP Nnaghe Obono Itam target is to foster community policing through collaborative measures in ensuring maximum security and protection of lives and properties.

In vein of the above , the event was held at the Swiss Hotel Agulu with the local stakeholders to fine-tune security measures to the community.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the CP Nnaghe Obono Itam used the opportunity to enlighten the local stakeholders the needs to enhanced cooperation between the Law Enforcement Agencies and their immediate community.

CP Itam idea of interrelationship, is to build trust to enable it fight against enemies of peace and security, identify and address monster security concerns, develop effective strategies to prevent crimes and promote a safer environment for all SP Ikenga has said.

Those in attendance are the Local Government Chairman, who is the Chief Host Hon. Rome Ibekwe, Representative of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi (Rtd), HRM Igwe Christopher Okpala, Chairman Anaocha Traditional Council, Presidents General of the 10 towns in Anaocha LGA, distinguished personalities, great sons of Anaocha and others, SP Tochukwu Ikenga has said in the reports.
