Police need not to be coerced to do its job but diligently, DSP Ikenga said authoritatively.

Reacting further he said, “A citizen against whom a crime is committed has the right to complain to appropriate authorities and the Police is mandated by the Constitution to investigate such crime”.

The swift response by the Anambra State Police Command stated clearly that due process to detain the suspect was clearly followed through a court order , while enjoying the facility provided he persistently use his gadget to continue to commit more crime until he was deprived of it.
