Anambra Police Void Protests, Sues For Calm Over Alleged Human Right Violations

ANAMBRA STATE POLICE INVESTIGATES AND MOVES TO RESOLVE THE CONFLICT BETWEEN THE COMMAND’S OPERATIVES AND THE EX-FALCON OWNER OF A FOOTBALL ACADEMY IN ANAMBRA STATE

The Anambra State Police Command, through the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga has issued a statement in Akwa the state capital yesterday regarding some protests in form of publications by an Ex Falcon football star bothering on Human rights violations by some Operatives of the State Police Command.

According to the Police Spokesperson for the State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga said that, investigation is on going and moves to resolve the conflict is on top priority.

The parties involved has been invited as it hang on human rights violations as alleged. The ex International footballer and her team made useful input towards the investigations.

The State Police Command, shall looked deeply into the unprofessional conduct of the police officers involved, though investigation revealed that the incident happened a few months ago and that there have been ongoing efforts to resolve the case between the parties concerned.

The Anambra State Police Command sues for peace in all quarters, under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam stating that it remains committed and accountable in strengthening the relationship with the members of the Public, especially Ndi Anambra. , SP Tochukwu Ikenga has said in the report sighted by AR correspondent reporter
