ANAMBRA POLICE ARRESTS SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBER AND MEMBER OF A SEPARATIST GROUP: RECOVERS SNATCHED VEHICLE IN AWKA
The Anambra State Police Command arrested Charles Chinonso, a 32-year-old suspected armed robber and member of a separatist group, in a coordinated intelligence-led operation on August 10, 2025 has been arrested by the police
According to the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga who gives analysis of the report on how operatives from the Special Anti-Cultism Squad, Enugwu-Ukwu, arrested Chinonso at Umuazu Village, Nise, in Awka South Local Government Area.
While giving the outcome of the report, the police recovered a vehicle reported stolen in Imo State, specifically from the World Bank Housing Area, Owerri West Local Government Area.
The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu assured that the Command will work with the Imo State Police Command to process the suspect and the recovered vehicle according to legal procedures. SP Tochukwu Ikenga revealed in the document sighted by Aiyekooto Reporters.
