TRENDING VIDEO OF ALLEGED SWAP OF ATM CARD OF AN OLD WOMAN IN NNEWI: ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND BEGINS INVESTIGATION: CALLS ON MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO HELP IDENTIFY THE SUSPECT

In what seems to be a helpless situation, or impossible mission the Anambra State Police Command is appealing for assistance from members of the public, while trusting on community policing as the best form of tackling crimes either in tracking or cracking , preventing and control.

However, the State Command is reacting to a trending video where a yet to be identified lady in an Automated Teller Machine queue of a Commercial Bank in Nnewi, allegedly and craftly swapped an ATM card belonging to another.

The ATM card belongs to a 58 years old woman ( quinquagenarian ) handicapped woman. The unidentified lady as at the time of reporting this incident has withdrew the sum of two million Naira in parts.

The Anambra State Police Command will have to dig deep into hi-tech driven technology to apprehend the culprit, verbatim investigation by the Command and Community Policing at its peak to identify the suspect as indicated in the trending video will be the anticipated miracle to apprehend the queer criminal gangsters. Collaborative support from the people, the commercial Bank and proper analysis of the trending video cannot be overruled .

According to the Police Spokesperson for the State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, preliminary information reveals that the unidentified lady suspect disguised herself to assist the victim and swapped the ATM card of the victim and a few minutes after the suspect left the ATM spot, the quinquagenarian received several debit alerts totaling the sum of Two Million Naira (N2,000,000).

Speaking further, SP Ikenga said , The Commissioner of Police CP Nnaghe Obono Itam has directed that thorough investigation into it and ordered the deployment of high technology paraphernalia to bring the culprit and her criminal gangs to book.
