Foundation is the base where something stands

Aside God Almighty, our first foundation is our parent. Parents are the first interface and contact we have on this earthly plane. They are our foremost foundation that we build on. They’re indebted to us by giving us tutelage of life . It’s biblical to say , “Teach your children the way of the Lord so that they wouldn’t depart from it “

Therefore, it’s imperative to note that , children grew up to emulate or influence the good stead , however it is sometimes an irony of life that special bred children are empowered to influence parental beliefs.. they are able to do that because they are special and parents sometimes accede to their decisions because they found out that they are actually special bred among others.

While parents gives children the foundational step to build on , children compliment it after their demise in memory of their heroes. However, it is suggestive to them base on the scoops of areas they’re likely to build on.

This is the scenario and narrative the Akem Foundation Chairman Dr Ayo Ogunsan revealed during the 2.0 anniversary. According to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund Board Member, Dr Ayodele Ogunsan, the power of influence he has to change an institutional beliefs of his parent started as a teenager after giving his life to Christ at age fourteen (14) .

With God all things are possible, the Bible confirmed it. Narrating how his father , a civil war veteran, who fought to keep Nigeria one, during the War discovered a deserted church building which could best serve as a resting place , only to find out charms planted on the alter. It is herculean, extremely difficult project to handle and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to such an individual. The scion of the Ogunsan’s did the unthinkable as he later led his father to Christ! That’s special and can only be handled by a special bred…!

On the other hand , Akinola Ogunsan knowing fully well the importance of education and the task ahead challenged the young man Ayodele to ensure he talk to his God to come out Excellent in his SSCE which he collapsed with A grades. What an influence…!

A man that finds it despicable to step into church for over a decade , defeated himself when he has no option but to honour his son’s wedding in the church, attended the Thanksgiving Service the following day , from that point, Christ arrested him and perfected it until, he rested on the bossom of his Creator. RIP Dad..!

On the 27th of April , 2024, the Civic Centre , Victoria Island, schedule to honour Pastor Akinola , an articulated Nigerian, a war veteran, an Air Force officer, a flight Engineer , a Christ Ambassador alongside his entrepreneurial beautiful wife Emiola (both of blessed memories).

The Akem Foundation brought together distinguished Nigerians and Dr Ayodele Ogunsan the newly appointed POCACOV Chairman of Lagos State is the bridge builder who connects the young and old , the wealthiest and the poor, the weak and the strong.

Nevertheless, the 2.0 edition of Akem Foundation , gave incentives to entrepreneurial centres and educational consults .
Ten credible non-governmental organizations enjoyed the largesse having meant the perequistes set . The foundation disbursed about Three million naira to the beneficiaries.

The organizationns, thank Akem Foundation and pledge to strictly used the fund for specific purposes and be accountable to continue to feature in future editions.

Though the height of it, is the distinguished guests at the event who gave very good account of themselves, and gave insight of the Projector distinctive personality, the donor’s spoke vehemently of their continuous support to Akem Foundation.
