FOUR ARRESTED FOR RAPING A 17 YEAR OLD GIRL

Rape is a very serious offense in law , while in some countries it carries very serious capital offence. It left very negative stigma to victims of rape hence, attention have been drawn by State Edict of difference states to checkmate this wicked prepositions in the society by laws establishing it.

Consequence on this, the Adamawa State Police Command, Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc(+) has ordered the arrest of four suspected rape minors to be taken into protective custody pending the outcome of an investigation and legal advice from the office of the Director of public prosecution (DPP) of the State

The State Police Public Relation Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje has said in a report monitored by Aiyekooto Reporters Correspondence Reporter.

The following students:

(1)Sukari Mathew, 16years ,
(2)Corlins Cambull, 16years
(3) Barnabas Simon, 17years,
(4) Ferdinand Mathew, 17years all minors and students of Government Secondary school Sugu, in Ganye local Government area are already in Police nets over raping of a teenage girl, the report has said.

According to the Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, a complainant one Veronica Kezitto, female and resident of Sugu village reported that the above named suspects allegedly conspired and raped a 17 years old victim (names withheld) after they intoxicated her with some quantity of alcoholic drinks .

According to the Police, the suspects has confessed to have committed the crime during interrogation and they will be charged for criminal conspiracy and rape of a minor.

The Commissioner of Police,CP Dankombo Morris, Psc(+), who frown at the incident, warned parents and guardians to have very close monitoring of their children, that their primary responsibility is the absolute care of their children. He said the suspected rape minors will be in custody pending the outcome of DPP advice.

SP Suleiman Nguroje, the Spokesperson of the state has said in the police reports.
