DIG Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha, mni, Commiserates with Salihu’s Family, Lagos Police Command Over Passing of Former DC Admin

Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Information and Communication Technology and the South-West zone, DIG, Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha, mni, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of his former Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, describing the loss as a painful blow to the Nigeria Police Force and all who knew him.

As my DC Admin and Finance, Khan embodies prudence, professionalism, and dedication to duty. These are rare qualities that are hard to find, and he is, without a doubt, an exceptional police officer.

In a heartfelt condolence message on Thursday, DIG Mustapha extended his sympathies to the bereaved Salihu family and the entire Lagos State Police Command, where the late officer once served with distinction.

Paying glowing tribute to the deceased, DIG Mustapha said:
“Khan was a fine gentleman, a consummate professional, and an officer whose commitment to duty was simply excellent. He carried himself with rare dignity, discipline, and dedication that inspired both his superiors and go subordinates. His sudden departure has left a void that will be difficult to fill.”

The senior police chief noted that the late DC Admin was not only an exemplary officer but also a mentor to many within the Force, whose legacy of integrity and hard work would remain indelible in the annals of the Lagos State Police Command.

“At this moment of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with the Salihu family. May Almighty God grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and may He grant the departed soul eternal rest,” DIG Mustapha prayed.

The late officer’s death has thrown colleagues and associates into mourning, with many recalling his humility, operational brilliance, and unwavering loyalty to the Force.
