CP ORUTUGU TO RESUSCITATE THE CATTLE MENACE COMMITTEE IN THE COMMAND AS HE RECEIVES HAUSA/FULANI COMMUNITY ON A COURTESY VISIT TO HIS OFFICE
The Anambra State Police Command has taken the bull by the horn to address various challenges confronting the multifaceted security concerns in the state.
According to a statement issued by the Police Spokesperson of the State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the solution to the problems posed by cattle grazing, leading to destruction of farm products, heralding occasional conflicts between herders and local communities in the state has been critically look into.
A Committee to address various issues caused by cattle/herders and the communities through the resuscitated Cattle Menace Committee under the watch of the proactive State Commissioner of Police, CP Okoye Orutugu fwc mnips, PhD.has been reconstituted .
“The Commissioner of Police Orutugu assured Ndi Anambra and residents alike that the Command under his watch shall continue to take proactive steps to address all security concerns in the State and notes that reviving the Committee will help to promote a safer and more harmonious coexistence between different communities in Anambra State” Aiyekooto Reporters reports
