CP Celebrates Double

This is a Holy month for both major religion. Christians and Muslims seeking the face of our Creator to gear towards nation building for a secure society and a better Nigeria

The Commissioner of Police,Lagos State Police Command, CP Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha mni, celebrate Christians all over the world in observing the Easter Celebration on the resurrection of Christ Jesus.

According to the message, it call for sober reflection as Christians remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ in redemption of all sin and the Muslim observation of Ramadan fasting.

CP Fayoade Adegoke said , this is a Holy month for both major religion. Christians and Muslims are seeking the face of our Creator to gear towards nation building for a secure society and a better Nigeria. Christians, I believe they have used the Lent period to immensely pray for the country for national integration and survival as a Nation.

On behalf of officers and men of the Lagos State Police Command, it’s a month of double celebration, double efforts to rid Crimes in Lagos State and celebrate double to secure the city gate of Lagos and protect the citizens.

Speaking further, the importance of both religion cannot be overemphasized as both preached against crime in any form, and are critical stakeholders in national development.

Their roles are distinct and projected towards Peace. Both religion are notable for Peaceful coexistence among themselves and as such is a reflection of policing for peace , protection of lives and properties. The relationship is synonymous and dynamic in Lagos State.

CP Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha mni has said that , Lagos State can be reassured of adequate protection from crime during the Easter Celebration and beyond.

While admonishing Muslims to use the period of the ongoing Ramadan fasting to pray for the country and the political leadership for a renewal Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be fulfilled within the shortest possible time,
