Nigeria is sixty three years old. Nigeria got independence on the 1st of October, 1960 and become a Republic in 1963.

To this effect, it simply means all apparatus of government, an independent state , member of commonwealth of nations and definitely become a free state by status. Nigeria independence didn’t come easily either as our celebrated hero’s and founding fathers fought vigorously for us to be privileged to get the independent’s ticket.

The Nigerian heros remain, Alhaji Ahmadu Bello, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo among others.

Whatever it is , the Nigeria State has been struggling since Independence it’s a challenge of nationhood but definitely Nigeria must survive . There’s no doubt that Nigeria has exhibited indices of a failed state but have always survive and come out strongly. That purveyor of optimism gives hope , renewal hope and strategically delivered as giant of Africa…!

Nigerians are more divided with tribe and religion which are artificial because it is cosmetics and politically motivated, genuinely the factor’s that remain germane hardly pull us apart. Therefore it is divided we fall and united we stand. That unity in diversity is the Nigerian strength and spirits which remain sacrosanct.

Dr Solomon Arase CFR of the Police Service Commission capture it this way, “This day should be special for Nigerians and their loved ones and that it should present to them the sacred opportunity to celebrate the glory of freedom”. He said further, “it is obvious that no nation is perfect; we have had our fair share of hate and violence but this is the moment to build our new future full of love and understanding” the Chairman PSC concluded that there’s hope for the country.

Nigerians express hope because they have serious beliefs in the system, “As we celebrate Nigeria Independence Day Anniversary at 63, the remarkable journey of Nigeria towards freedom and self-determination, let us embrace the richness of our diverse cultures and the strength that binds us together'” CP Ahmed Kontagora (rtd)

Another Nigerian who is tested of her true Nigerian originality is the immediate past Kwara State Commissioner of Police, she was troubled with religion in a very tensed religious State. She succeeded because she knew her onus that Nigeria come first in everything. In her summation of independence message to the Nigerians; “At 63, the resilience of the Nigerian people is waxing stronger, to build a viable nation where religion and tribalism will not only be secondary but a renewal hope of one nation, one destiny is held supreme”. CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi (rtd) the Former Kwara State Police Commissioner said in her independence message.

In another expressive message of love for a nation, the patriotic zeal of CP Adegoke Mustapha Fayoade echoed from Jos , Nigeria said, “At 63, Nigerians should remain united, love one another and join hands with our leaders to make Nigeria attain her full potentials for the benefit of our great people” the pertinent message passed is love for a great people.

CP Okunade Oyeronke Nurat, a soft spoken patriotic Nigerian said her resilient prayer on today’s Nigerian independence message that, “May this Independence Day inspire us to build a brighter future together, where peace, progress, and prosperity shine for all Nigerians. Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!” 🇳🇬🎉 The dutiful and diligent cop officer said concerning the Nigerian Independence Day Celebration.

“At 63 the nation challenge will be squashed and a new Nigeria reborn, restructure and a renewal hope will be emerged. Nigeria must rise again… Prince OB Omotunde, Editor Aiyekooto Reporters/VOAR Magazine has said in his captured independence message.

While this expression of faith is rekindled, no matter how long, if Nigerians can survive this longest nightmarish experience for over sixty three years ago, Nigeria sagacious faith will pull her through. The faith, the Spirit and stoic patriotism of the Nigerians remain undaunted.

Congratulations Nigerians and Happy Independence Day Anniversary
