Delta State Police Call On Residents To Claim And Identify Male Corpse


The Delta State Police Command has been making steps in ensuring that Delta State indigenes goes to their bedroom with eyes close. In quest of ensuring this statuary responsibility they are enshrined with police functional obligation which others might have seen as third tier of government responsiblility in the State. 
It goes beyond crime fighting , peace and order is primary assignment and responsibility of the Police. 
Therefore, let it be clear that in turning round the state with order and directives with the functional security architecture put in place by the State Police Commissioner,  CP Wale Abass Psc. 
It’s pertinent to also note that,  the Command place on notice an unclaimed and yet to be identified corpse regarding an accident that occured along illah/Asaba  Expressway by Ngegwu  market involving a Sienna Car with Registration Number JRV 398 ZY driven by one Chima Uzor ‘m’ collided with a Daylong Motorcycle.
However, the accident claim one life and the corpse has been deposited to St James Hospital Mortuary in illah, Delta State. 
The State Police Spokesman DSP Edafe Bright has stated earlier in a statement released that any person or persons who knows the victim , parents, relatives or friends should contact MotorPol Asaba, St James Hospital Mortuary illah , Delta State Police Public Relation Office Asaba or Delta State Command Asaba for possible identification and collection of corpse.
