The Nigerian Police have began to collaborate with other security agencies in order to have a successful 2023 elections.
The IGP, Usman Alkali Baba spoke through the DIG in charge of FCID, DIG Johnson Babatunde Kokumo warn officers to shun corrupt practices and be non partisan in the coming elections. He also posited that the electorates must be protected and also enforce free and fair polls at the elections.
You will recollect that the nation is planning to have its general election that will.usher in the new administration after the present government will be packing up after their eight years in governance. The IGP also admonished police chiefs to come up with strategies that will ensure free polls.
In the same vein, the Police PPROs across the nation is currently holding a conference in Ibadan Oyo state Nigeria. The conference is targeted at strengthening security at the 2023 polls. The theme of the conference was tagged,; Strengthening Strategic Communication Towards Police Reforms, Security and Integrity of 2023 Elections. The conference is expected to come to a close on Thursday 15th December, 2022
