Tafa Balogun Bade The World Good Bye @ 75

All road lead to Ila Orangun, Osun State Nigeria on the 41days Fidua Prayer of the late Inspector General Of Police , Tafa Adebayo Balogun (rtd)  CFR, NPM, FWC in accordance to Islamic rites.

The Inspector General Of Police Usman Alkali Baba has earlier sent condolence message to the family of the former Inspector General Of Police.

The death of the former Police Chief signature the end of an era and the beginning of another dynasty in Ila Orangun. What an exit of an Icon.

There’s more to miss in the death of the Police Boss as he had hands in raising young police  officers within the State and beyond . He is the architect of alot of police reforms. He is also instrumental in ensuring promotion regulatory policy instead of stagnation. It was becoming an acceptable norms that an officer will be in a particular rank for a decade or more
He put an end to such irregularities.

The 11th Indigenous Inspector General Of Police popularly called Kumawu also facilitated the establishment of the Police Mobile Force Training College, ila Orangun, Osun State.

He exposed most of the officers to modern policing and ensuring periodic international training to enchance the dignity in policing and beyond. Tafa Adebayo Balogun was born on the 25th of August 1947 and succumb to the will of Allah on the 4th of August, 2022 after a brief illness in his Lagos residence.

In honour of the 41 days Fidua Prayer Royal Father’s, coloured the Fidua prayer led by the Chief Imam of Ila Orangun.

The Royal Father’s presence are ,  HRM Oba Ismail Abolaji Yahaya Mohammed Atoloye Olupo Of Ajase- IPO,  HRM Oba Dr Hammed.Awuni Babalola, Arepo lll ,Elese of Igbaja , HRM Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti , The Olomu Efon ll ,Olomu of Omu-Aran, HRM Oba Haruna Olawale Sulaiman Adegbite ll Olupako of Share. among others

The state Governor-Elect Senator Ademola Adeleke , President of OPC Prince Aare Prince Osibote,  Deputy Commissioner of Police  Adegoke Fayoade Mustapha also greased the occasion.

There’s no doubt that the people of ila orangum defiles the rain to give their son a well befitting end. Goodnight Kumawu!
