At 50: President Tinubu Hails LSSTF Boss, Ogunsan, Urges Sustained Commitment to Security and National Progress

President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has felicitated the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, on the occasion of his 50th birthday on October 6, 2026.

In a congratulatory message released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu lauded Dr. Ogunsan’s commitment to institution-building and his efforts in fostering effective partnerships among government, the private sector and other critical stakeholders to advance security and development.

The President commended the LSSTF boss for his dedicated service to Lagos State and his immense contributions to strengthening the state’s security architecture, enhancing public safety and building public confidence through the Trust Fund.

He noted that prior to his appointment as Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ogunsan served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the LSSTF and has held other strategic responsibilities in the security and community safety sector, including serving as Chairman of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), Lagos State, and as Patron of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC).

President Tinubu further observed that under Dr. Ogunsan’s leadership, the LSSTF has continued to play a pivotal role in supporting security agencies with critical equipment, infrastructure and logistics needed to enhance operational effectiveness in the protection of lives and property.

In his charge to the celebrant, the President stated:
“As you mark this significant milestone, I urge you to sustain your dedication to the security and progress of Lagos State and Nigeria. I wish you many more years of good health, wisdom and fulfilment, as well as continued success in your service to humanity and our nation.”
