POLICE OFFICER’S WIVES ASSOCIATION ANAMBRA CHAPTER COURTESY VISITS ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND: CP ORUTUGU EXPRESSES ENTHUSIASM TO LEVERAGE ON THE ASSOCIATION’S EFFORTS TO PROMOTE A POSITIVE POLICE-COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIP WITH NDI ANAMBRA

The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu, met with the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) to discuss promoting positive police-community relationships. POWA’s initiatives include :

• Empowering Women: Skills training and economic empowerment programs
• Supporting Police Families: Counselling and welfare services
• Community Outreach: Charitable initiatives and community programs
• Skills Acquisition: Programs like fashion design, catering, baking, and hair and wig making

POWA also plans to build a bakery and seeks the Command’s support. A statement issued by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Spokesperson for the State has confirmed.
