DCP Dr. Akinbayo Olasoji Olasunkanmi Aremu, one of Nigeria’s most distinguished police officers, has achieved a remarkable milestone by earning his PhD in Economics from Ekiti State University. His thesis, ‘Economic Crimes, Poverty, and Economic Growth in Selected African Countries,’ explores the complex relationship between poverty, economic crimes, and economic growth in Africa.
Dr. Aremu’s academic achievement is a testament to his dedication to lifelong learning and his commitment to making a positive impact on society.
As a police officer, he has demonstrated exceptional integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of justice, earning him widespread respect within and beyond the police force.
His previous academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science (Ed) degree in Economics Education from Lagos State University and a Master of Science degree in Economics from Ekiti State University. He is also a Certified Private Investigator and Intelligence Analyst.
Dr. Aremu’s research studies have been widely cited and referenced by other authors, demonstrating his expertise in economics and his ability to contribute meaningfully to the field. His commitment to public service extends beyond his professional duties, as he serves as a pastor at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.
