FCT POLICE COMMAND COMMENCE NATIONAL POLICE DAY 2025 WITH COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND CLEAN-UP EXERCISE
The FCT Police Command is commemorating National Police Day 2025 with a three-day community outreach program, themed “Say NO to Crime.” This initiative emphasizes the collective responsibility of law enforcement and the public in tackling social vices like cultism, drug abuse, and cybercrime .
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao S. Adewale led the charge on Day One with a clean-up exercise at Lagos Street, Garki, and the Palace of the Sa’peyi of Garki. This effort showcases the command’s commitment to community engagement beyond law enforcement duties. A report statement from the FCT Command Spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh has said.
According to her , The Commissioner expressed gratitude to Inspector General of Police IGP Kayode Egbetokun for his leadership and commitment to community policing. The IGP’s efforts in modernizing the Nigeria Police Force inspire officers to build stronger community relationships.
