Anambra State is shining bright as a safe and attractive destination for visitors and tourists. Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, recently highlighted the state’s security and safety, citing the successful cultural display of the Okpoama Kingdom of Brass Local Government as a prime example.

This event brought together dignitaries, including revered Chiefs from Bayelsa and the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Gilbert Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

Anambra State boasts a rich cultural heritage, with numerous tourist attractions like Agulu Lake, Ogbunike Cave, and Igbo Ukwu Museum, showcasing its history, art, and natural beauty.

The state is also home to vibrant festivals and carnivals, including Imo Awka, Afia Oru, New Yam, and Ofala Festivals, celebrating its cultural diversity and traditions.

To foster unity and cooperation among different cultures and communities, CP Ikioye Orutugu extended felicitations to the Christian Community on Mothering Sunday and the Muslim Community on Eid al-Fitr, promoting a sense of inclusivity and harmony in the state. The State Police Spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga has disclosed during the cultural display in the state.
