The Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, recently received Brigadier General J A Ifeanyi, the newly posted Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade, at his palace in Owo.
This courtesy visit was an opportunity for the Brigadier General to familiarize himself with key personalities in the state and seek the royal blessings of His Majesty.
During their meeting, Brigadier General Ifeanyi shared that this was his third stint in Ondo State, having previously served as a Captain and Colonel. He expressed his gratitude to Oba Ogunoye for the warm reception and pledged that his team would maintain peace and discharge their duties without infringing on anyone’s rights.
Oba Ogunoye congratulated the Brigadier General on his new posting, acknowledging his impressive character, learning, and past experiences in the state. He also commended the Nigerian Army for its discipline, professionalism, and service delivery, particularly in protecting the country’s territorial integrity.
