SUSTAINING SAFETY IN ANAMBRA: POLICE AND OTHER SECURITY AGENCIES INTENSIFY NIGHT PATROL FOR IMPROVED SAFETY IN THE STATE
The Anambra State Police Command, Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Ortugu is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and security of its residents. By intensifying night patrol efforts, the police aim to deter criminal activities, provide reassurance to the public, and demonstrate their commitment to creating a safer environment.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Anambra State Police Command Spokesperson has said in a released report to journalists in Akwa ,the State capital.
According to him, this move is part of the Command’s broader efforts to sustain safety and security in Anambra.
Some of the key initiatives undertaken by the Anambra State Police Command include:
Police reports privy to Aiyekooto Reporters indicates the parading crime suspects. The Command has paraded over 129 crime suspects, including those suspected of insurgency, cultism, armed robbery, and other crimes
Recovering arms and ammunition: The police have recovered arms and ammunition, further enhancing public safety and Collaborating with other security agencies
These efforts demonstrate the Anambra State Police Command’s commitment to sustaining safety and security in the state, SP Ikenga has said.
