Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN) has begun car assembly in Nigeria, starting with the land trek, 3008, 5008 and the new 508.Peugeot vehicles will now be assembled in Nigeria nearly four years after joint owners Dangote Group secured authorization from the Nigerian regulator following prior expressions of interest in the old Peugeot facility, now known as PAN Nigeria Ltd, according to report.According to the Nigerian automobile company, the newly constructed Green Field Assembly Plant in the country’s northern region is capable of producing 120 automobiles per day in two shifts. Additionally, the management stated that the vehicles to be released are expected to demonstrate their exceptional looks, technological sophistication, and safety features in order to appeal to customers and the motoring public.“With the New Green Field Ultima Assembly Plant, a lot is being done by DPAN to ensure visibility of the Peugeot brand and availability of spare parts to the network and the generality of Nigerians.
